Busted By The Feds - A Manual For Defendents Facing Federal Prosecution (Book Cover)
Larry Fassler - 7th Edition 2007

Jul 03, 2007 {ID: 3755} {Class: Federal (Criminal) | Sub-Class: Other}

The book 'Busted By The Feds - A Manual For Defendents Facing Federal Prosecution', by Larry Fassler, was my starting point in trying to understand my Federal Passport case and all its implications. While awaiting my court hearings, this book turned out to be more helpful then I imagined, especially when it came to the computation of my Criminal History Points.

Based on what I had learned, I was eventually able to convince not only my attorneys, but also my probation officer, to decrease my criminal history points in her Presentence Investigation Report, which ultimately allowed the sentencing judge to apply downward departure.
