Detective Sergeant Pat Walsh
Detective Sergeant from Flathead County Sherriff's Office in Kalispell, Montana in 2006
A deputy in 1982, Pat Walsh would eventually become the Flathead County detective sergeant who was largely responsible for not only compiling the 1982 accident reports, but in 2006 was also tasked with 'filling in' any crucial evidence that was missing from the original 1982 documents.
Essentially, he was responsible for generating the bulk of the Flathead County Sheriff's Office Investigative Reports used during the State case.
And although he and Sheriff Dupont tried to appear credible during their Dateline NBC interview, the reality was that they both simply ignored most of the critical RCMP and Flathead County evidence in order to create their own 'alternative' version of the accident based more on personal opinions rather than facts.
A prime example of the Flathead County Justice System at its finest.
