This article, from the Missoulian.com website, is dated March 20, 2012. As it turned out, one of the most memorable events in Sheriff Dupont's life was solving my Negligent Homicide case, according to Sheriff Chuck Curry. Sheriff Dupont may have 'been well-regarded by his peers and colleagues on both sides of the political aisle' but, as Curry states in the article, 'he wasn't always the most politically correct person' and he surely wasn't the most honest one either.

It is unfortunate that he passed away so quickly, before we got a chance to sit down and discuss the case details. I would have loved to get his feedback now that the evidence was completely disclosed and the case was no longer plagued by his investigative work and embellishments.
